Tikhi Papdi are small, thin, golden, deep-fried crisp discs loaded with a fiery red Gujarati masala coating (red chilli, amchur, and punchy spices). "Tikhi" means extra-spicy in Gujarati. They are the essential crunchy base for popular chaat dishes like dahi papdi chaat, sev puri, bhel puri, papdi chaat, and ragda patis. They're also loved as a standalone fiery snack straight from the pack — perfect for spice lovers who enjoy intense heat with their munchies.
Very spicy! It features an intense, bold, lingering heat from generous red chilli and tangy amchur (dry mango powder), balanced with Gujarati-style masala. Visible red spice coating signals the kick. It's significantly hotter than regular/plain papdi — ideal for those who crave "chatpata" and "tikhi" snacks. (Milder regular papdi is also available if you want to offer both.)
Fully ready-to-eat as a standalone spicy snack. For chaat, simply layer with toppings (yogurt, chutneys, sev, boiled potatoes, onions, etc.) — no further cooking required. The super-crunch texture holds up perfectly even after saucy toppings.
Shelf life is 6 months in nitrogen-flushed, moisture-proof packaging. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity. The thin, fried design and packaging ensure the crunch and spice intensity remain strong for the full shelf life — no sogginess.
