Fafda is a signature Gujarati breakfast and tea-time snack — long, thin, golden, ultra-crispy strips made purely from gram flour (besan). Seasoned lightly with carom seeds (ajwain) and black pepper, it offers a light, airy, melt-in-mouth texture. Traditionally enjoyed with: Kadhi chutney (or green chutney), Fried green chillies, Sweet jalebi (the classic fafda-jalebi combo), Raw papaya sambharo (spicy salad). Perfect for breakfast, evening chai, festivals, or as a standalone crunchy snack.
We use 100% pure besan (no maida/refined flour added), fresh daily hand-rolling, and frying in high-quality oil. Made in Bhavnagar & Surat — Gujarat's traditional farsan heartland — using time-tested recipes for the perfect light, crispy texture and classic ajwain-pepper flavour that Gujaratis worldwide recognize and love.
Fafda is produced fresh every morning to ensure maximum flavour and texture. Thanks to nitrogen-flushed, moisture-proof packaging, it maintains its signature extra-crispy texture for the full 6-month shelf life — no softness or staleness, even after months in transit or on shelves.
Shelf life is 6 months when stored in unopened nitrogen-flushed packs. Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity. Once opened, consume within a few weeks and reseal tightly to preserve crunch.
MOQ is only 2 metric tons. You can mix Fafda with other Kexor farsan items (gathiya, sev, khasta kachori, tikhi papdi, etc.) — ideal for importers offering a complete Gujarati snack range.
Yes — 100% vegetarian and made from pure gram flour, ajwain, black pepper, salt, and oil. No onion, garlic, or animal products in the standard recipe (suitable for Jain diets). Contains gram flour (legume) and is deep-fried in oil. Not gluten-free (besan is gluten-free, but cross-contamination possible in facility).
Retail: 200g, 400g, and 500g attractive stand-up pouches (resealable, often with window to showcase the golden strips). Bulk: 5–10 kg moisture-proof cartons suitable for private labeling, repacking, ethnic stores, restaurants, or festival bulk sales. Custom packaging available.
Ready-to-eat straight from the pack — perfect for snacking or quick breakfast. Many customers pair it with ready-made chutney, yogurt, or jalebi for the full experience. No additional cooking required, though gently warming in an air-fryer (30 seconds) can refresh the crispiness.
We export to 70+ countries, including major markets like USA, UK, Canada, Australia, UAE, Malaysia, Singapore, New Zealand, Fiji, and many more. Full door-to-door delivery with complete export documentation and compliance support.
Daily fresh production with year-round ready stock. Additional or larger orders take 7–12 days for production, followed by fast worldwide shipping — ensuring the fafda arrives as fresh and crispy as possible.
